  1. This is just a small batch file
  2. using Ansi Escape codes
  3. That will put a nice little
  4. Cross at the DOS prompt.

  6. You must, of course, have an
  7. ansi driver installed in your
  8. system. The most common way is
  9. a line in your config.sys file:

  11. DEVICE=ANSI.SYS
  12.  
  13. with the ANSI.SYS file being
  14. present in the directory you
  15. boot from.
